COMPLETE NATIVITY OR DIY?
The Crib tradition in our country is widespread and loved, for many families Christmas without the warmth that the Crib gives is not a real Christmas atmosphere.
This ancient tradition, for which you can find the origins already explained in other articles, has reached the present day and in every era it has gone through it has evolved following the tastes, the possibilities of the given historical period, as well as from the evolution brought about by new technological discoveries.
Nowadays it would be impossible to think of a Diorama without lighting and electronic effects, some moving statues and maybe without water features; but if we stop for a moment to reflect and identify ourselves with settings of the Crib created, for example, in 1400 all this would not have been even remotely imaginable for the knowledge available of the period. Fortunately we live in an era that allows us to be pleasantly delighted by the vast range of accessories and items for the Nativity scene, this means that we can both decide to customize it in every detail and dedicate our free time to it, but also to have already available objects created to obtain an optimal result with the minimum expenditure of time and energy.
In our shop there are over 10,000 products for nativity scenes suitable for all needs, in fact, it is possible to create a nativity scene independently by purchasing only accessories to complete your handmade structures, such as small parts, lights, scooters and natural accessories. Or in the catalog there are also many Cribs and Villages ready to be exhibited, some already complete with lighting, water features, rather than statues or movements of characters and mills. This range of complete Nativity scenes includes different styles and landscapes, even modular to be able to set up a large space with many already perfect structures.
Obviously, as for those who prefer a totally do-it-yourself crib, even the complete cribs still allow a certain degree of customization depending on the progress of the purchased product.
The choice is decidedly difficult as there are innumerable proposals, for example, Cribs with a mountain landscape rather than with a Palestinian Arab setting; but also 18th century or Neapolitan style villages. Furthermore, some are already complete with fixed or moving statues, lights, fountains and waterways.
Our advice is to take some time to relax to be able to carefully view them all, even the news that are constantly updated during the year and choose the Nativity scene you like best.
